The map below highlights where St Ebbe's Church is, followed by directions for those travelling by train and car.

By Train

Oxford station is within easy walking distance of the church and should take between 10 and 15 minutes. Turn left out of the station car park onto a busy main road. Cross the road and take the road ahead and to the right – Park End Street. Continue along this road, going straight onto New Road at some traffic lights. At the top of the hill go straight into Queen Street (no cars but lots of buses). Turn right into St. Ebbe’s Street and right again into Penny Farthing Place and walk between Bar Med and the church. Just before the Westgate Shopping Centre turn left down a small alley (Roger Bacon Lane) and ring the door bell on the door half way down (2 Roger Bacon Lane).

By Car

From M40 South:

Leave the M40, junction 8, and proceed along the A40. When you come to a large roundabout (Headington Roundabout) turn left onto the Ring Road. Continue on this road, going straight over each roundabout, until you get to Kennington Roundabout. At this roundabout turn right (signposted city centre/Grandpont). Continue down this road until you come to a small bridge over the river. Go straight on here (even though it says you can't - you can for access). Then at the next traffic lights go straight on (next to the Court House). Then turn down the second left, which is a very small lane called Brewer Street. At the end turn right and pull in on the left.

From M40 North:

Leave the M40 at junction 9 and follow signs to Oxford City Centre. At the roundabout with a large BP petrol station on the right go straight on (onto Woodstock Road). Continue to the end (down St. Giles) and follow the one way system down Beaumont Street and left at the end. Continue following the one way system over the canal and turn left at the traffic lights (at the Royal Oxford Hotel). Continue straight on past the ice rink on the right and go straight on at the fist traffic lights. At the second traffic lights turn right and then left into Albion Place. Continue round on this road, which becomes St. Ebbe’s Street and pull in on the left after the gym.

Pay and display is available in the Westgate multi-storey car park. Levels 3B and 4A are most popular as they are closest to the Westgate access which leads through the shopping centre and out the other side, past Sainsburys, to Pennyfarthing Place and the church.
